Last night I finally met up with my friend, Jill, whom I've known just on the internet for about seven years! We met through an online blogging site and became good friends. Jill is now a writer for a blog site called Global Voices Online and also maintains her own blog.

She is in Miami for a conference being held down in Coral Gables at the University of Miami, so when we both found that we were free last night, we decided to get together! We went to CocoWalk, a beautiful shopping area in Coconut Grove, had dinner at Cafe TuTu Tango, and then got some fun night-time photos of Jill being her awesome self!

My friend Tracy Mendy is an awesome fashion photographer. She came by my office this morning so we could work on some Photoshop tips together, and I really wanted to try out my brand new 50mm lens! She was a fantastic subject! We had a lot of fun together talking shop, and Tracy got some cool new pictures to use when she designs her new website. Check them out.

While I was in Orlando, I was able to do a shoot with my friends Mikey & Adam, both amazing musicians in their own rights, who have intentions of recording together in the future. It was great to spend some time with them, as we hadn't seen each other in years, and we got some awesome shots, too!

The railroad is one of my very favorite places to do portrait sessions. I love the look!

Mikey's eyes sure look haunting in this photo! Definitely a favorite of mine.

Recently, I'd been lamenting to Adrian the fact that it's really been years since he's done a true photo shoot of me - his own wife! Sure, there are plenty of snapshots and photos here and there, but a formal shoot? The last one I can remember was when we both were in college!

So, yesterday evening, we decided to take advantage of the stormy night and do an awesome photo shoot in the rain! It was so much fun to get dressed up and made up and play the part of the model, and Adrian of course took some incredible photos of me.

The vampire picture is a little nod to my college days when I had the teeth custom made for a special costume. I love doing fun shots like these (even cooler when I'm in them)!

Adrian and I recently had an opportunity to do a portrait session at a gorgeous park in Coral Gables with a beautiful bellydancer who happens to be the wife of our colleague, Roy Llera, a photographer in Miami. We got together with Roy, his wife, and some other photographers for a wedding photography meet-up at Coco Walk and then went on a shoot, which was a lot of fun! The lush greenery of the area and the ancient coral rock made an excellent backdrop for this photo session.

Sunday night I went on a shoot with Karen's friend and a published author, Frank Fradella. His fun and engaging personality lent itself well to the shoot, as we took lots of off the wall photos, some with wine and a cigar. This photo shows him with probably his best known book.

I'll probably post a few more fun ones to Flickr and deviantArt, so add me as a friend on either if you're interested.
